Some said that it was because Cameron did not agree and oppose the methods taken by Najib on handling human rights issue in Malaysia especially the harsh treatment on BERSIH demonstrators. Some said that Cameron was just too busy as he had other more important things to dealt with.
However, no matter what people say or speculate, it gives a bad impression to Najib, the PM of Malaysia.
The Star reported both of whom shook hands and posed for photographers and videographers before moving inside for their tete-a-tete followed by a luncheon hosted by the British prime minister. However, our local news did not report that David Cameron did not attend the luncheon.

This picture taken by Reuters. It was as if David Cameron was FORCE to shake Najib's hand. It clearly shows that David Cameron was feeling uneasy by his face expression.
This was also reported in Sarawak Report
There were demonstrators too, gathering peacefully along the streets and police was friendly. Nonetheless, Malaysia Secret service officers where present too, frantically taking photos of the crowd to find out what are they doing there in BERSIH T-Shirt and slogans and also to make it difficult for the demonstrators.
The joke of the day was, Najib came in with his convoy and guess what he did. He wave to the demonstrators as if they were there to give him support. Which we all know it was the total opposite. Najib did not even go over to shook or greet any Malaysian there ask he knows the real truth.
