My view on BERSIH 2.0

The name says it all...

Bersih @ Clean for a Free and Fair Election

The 8 points that was mentioned by BERSIH are things that could improve our country.

1. Clean the electoral roll
2. Reform postal ballot
3. Use of indelible ink
4. Minimum 21 days campaign period
5. Free and fair access to media
6. Strengthen public institutions
7.Stop corruption
8. Stop dirty politics

Any normal person will agree with all the 8 points. However, the strange thing about the whole event is that our so called government aka Barisan Nasional said BERSIH is illegal. HUH? How can standing for what is correct, right, truthful and clean to be illegal?

Ironic enough BN crook, Hishammuddin said that this action is going against the government? On top of that, another BN crook, Ibrahim Ali who is the leader of perkasa threatens that he will use force and violence to stop BERSIH. Then came another crazy BN crook call Ali Rustam from patriot is threatening that he and his Silat members will fight against BERSIH and still have vendetta of May 13.

1) Hishammuddin is afraid, BN too. So they abuse power and arrest the innocents.
2) Ibrahim Ali is full of crap. Basically he is an extremist who is dividing the Malays and causing racial tension in the country.
3. Ali Rustam is just being a moron, dude this is 21 century. No more Hang Tuah or Wong Fei Hong era.

So lets be rational, we are all Malaysians regardless of race. You may be Chinese, Malay, Indian or even other race BUT we are still Malaysians. If someone were to arrest or threaten your son, daughter, sister, brother, father, mother, cousin, uncle or grandmother for voicing out the truth. What will you do?

That's the reason why we have BERSIH! To stand up for what is right and true. Yet we are doing it peacefully without using force, without threatening, without violence. All we need to do is to walk peacefully together as Malaysian in Yellow colour T-Shirt.

So I am urging all Malaysians to come out together on 9 July 2011 for a free and fair election, for our nation and for our future generation.
